E.M. Tharp became a dual dealership in 1992 working as E.M. Tharp dba Golden State Peterbilt with locations in Fresno, Porterville, and Bakersfield. The stores are still located in the same locations and are a full-service truck sales, parts, service, and body shop. Recently celebrating 30 years as a dealership the Tharp Family is proud to continue serving the Central Valley as the "The Transportation People".
